History of Ain Shams University
Ain Shams University, as the third Egyptian university, was founded in July 1950 under the name of "Ibrahim Pasha University". It participated with the two earlier universities, "Cairo University" (Fua'd the 1st ) and "Alexandria University" (Farouk the 1st) in fulfilling the message of universities and meeting the increasing demand of youth for higher education. When it was first established, Ain Shams University comprised a number of distinguished faculties and academic institutes, which were later developed into university.

community service and environmental development sector at Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, organized for the second year in a row, a ceremony to honor 27 of the students who have passed for the preparation of adult teachers training course during the month of August, and Dr. Huda Abaza and Vice Dean for the sector to deliver accredited certificates to them.
It has also handed over 11 workers who erase illiteracy accredited certificate from the faculty, and in the presence of d. Hanan Waynes of the Public Authority for Adult Education protocols Coordinator
Opening of self-sufficiency Festival of Theatrical performance

Festival of self-sufficiency for Theatrical performance was opened on Thursday, December 4th in its tenth session, which is organized by Youth Welfare Public Administration at Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Mohammed Al-Husseini Al-Toukhi Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
29 faculties (Arts - law - Agriculture - Medicine - Dentistry - Pharmacy - Education - Specific Education - Science - Engineering - Trade – Al-Alsun) participate in the festival, which runs until Monday, December. It will include plays on the stage of Youth Theater public administration.
The conclusion ceremony of self-sufficiency of theatrical performance will be held on December 30, of and individual and collective singing festival and awards distribution ceremony to the winning performances.
